These product grades are defined by progressive levels of performance benchmarks in each applicable standard. Commercial Door Hardware has two grades. Grade 1 is the highest level of durability and security, while Grade 2 falls slightly short of performance and durability benchmarks in comparison to Grade 1, both grades perform well in a commercial environment.
